Entry for the January contest at

I read this in the description: "It's implied in the series that most people in the town knew the story of "The Prince and the Raven" and Princess Tutu's role, and most would not take this tragic role" and thought, well, who else would care enough about the prince? Fakir!
So poor Fakir has to not only transform, but genderbend, which of course causes him all kinds of emotional trauma.
And this picture is somewhat based on the image at the very end of Princess Tutu--with the "Auf Wiedersehn"--only I can't see any happy ending here. Even if Fakir somehow managed to balance both the knight's role and Princess Tutu's (which I doubt), the way Duck ultimately saved Mytho was through hope. And Fakir (especially without Duck) lost his hope years ago.
(Drosselmeyer says: Yay! A tragedy!)
